At Artistry Salon, our cosmetologists provide excellent beauty services, such as hair styling, manicures, pedicures, facial treatments, hair removal treatments, and make-up application. We are seeking client-focused, organized, and adept cosmetologists to join our team. If you have experience with the duties listed below, we encourage you to apply for the Cosmetologist position.

Duties

• Prepares hair for styling by analyzing hair condition; shampooing and treating hair; conditions hair and scalp by applying treatments
• Plans desired effect by studying facial features; examining potential styles; conferring with customer; making recommendations
• Produces desired effect by arranging, shaping, curling, cutting, trimming, setting, bleaching, dyeing, and tinting hair
• Cut, trim and shape hair, based on customers' instructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors
• Recommend types of makeup, and teach customers how to use it
• Give facials to clients, using special compounds such as lotions and creams
• Recommend and explain the use of cosmetics, lotions, and creams to soften and lubricate skin and enhance and restore natural appearance
• Clean, shape, and polish fingernails and toenails, using files and nail polish; apply artificial fingernails
• Shape eyebrows and remove facial hair, using depilatory cream, tweezers, wax, or thread
• Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
• Maintain and clean equipment and instruments, and keep work areas sterile
• Perform administrative duties that may include answering the telephone, creating and updating records, and ordering supplies

Requirements

• High-school graduate (or equivalent)
• Valid and active license to practice

Esthetician (Preferably A Massage Therapist As Well)

Skin care is one of our many vital services. We are looking for skin care specialists who can provide exceptional and professional services to our clientele at Artistry Salon. The Esthetician will be essential to help us improve the overall look of clients’ skin. If you have experience with the duties listed below, we encourage you to apply for the Esthetician position.

Duties

• Give facials to clients, using special compounds such as lotions and creams
• Shape eyebrows and remove facial hair, using depilatory cream, tweezers, wax, or thread
• Full-body waxing
• Has knowledge or training in microdermabrasion
• Assesses clients’ skin condition and give suggestions for proper skin care regiments
• Maintains safe and healthy conditions by following organization standards and legal regulations
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
• Maintain and clean equipment and instruments, and keep work areas sterile
• Perform administrative duties that may include answering the telephone, creating and updating records, and ordering supplies
• Individuals with experience in eyebrow microblading given preference

Requirements

• High-school graduate (or equivalent)
• Valid and active license to practice

Massage Therapist (Preferably An Esthetician As Well)

Artistry Salon is looking for a Massage Therapist who specializes in providing clients with relaxation and pain relief through specialized body treatments. With a well-maintained environment, ideal for massage therapy, we offer the ability maintain your own space and create your own therapeutic treatments. If you have a background in massage therapy, we encourage you to join the Artistry Salon team.

Duties

• Massage clients’ bodies and feet using massage oils and other lubricants
• Use special techniques such as rubbing and kneading to increase blood circulation and relax muscles in clients
• Teach clients specialized exercises or techniques to use at home
• Create a calm and relaxing atmosphere for clients
• Ensure personal massage station is always sanitary and tidy
• Help encourage potential and existing clients towards massage-oriented services
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned

Threading Specialist

Artistry Salon is looking for a Threading Specalist who is proficient in full face threading. With a long-standing clientele interested in threading hair removal, Artistry Salon offers an opportunity for a skilled threading specialist to build a client base. If you have expereince with threading hair removal, and meet the following qualifications, we encourage you to apply:
